was quite excited cos i planned to do lots of work. like i brought all my bio and maths notes.

but was feeling kind of sleepy and poopy so didnt do alot of work.

we ate bah chor mee for lunch! yummy! and then went to hdb hub coffee bean to continue studying. bought a drink to share and a funny looking caramel cookie.

it looks funny cos there's like white stuff on it. makes it look mouldy. so we were quite interested to try it.

we were saying we look kind of alike in this photo.

then vanessa kept telling me to open my eyes bigger. but what can i do! they're like that! hahahah. so she just had to compromise and make her eyes look small too.

like this we look even more similar.

after that went over to jalan besar cc to celebrate cny with the old folks there. was contemplating whether to go or not but finally decided to go.

had the usual sing a long session. and this time saboed to sing a song with my sister. i think the ah peks love us alot. hahaha

its quite sad to see the number of old folks coming down to the cc every year decreasing. cos there's an increasing number of them falling ill, being bedridden or just unable to help themselves out of the house. there was this old man whom always looked healthy but this year he had to come in a scooter cos he couldnt walk. and these old folks have no relatives at all so they have no one to celebrate cny with. always thought that cny was a v impt celebration to old ppl but i think to many of them they have long ago given up the dream of eating reunion dinner with their families. so coming here always makes me feel really blessed and makes me want to help them even more.

just hope the ah gongs and ah ma liked the food and had funn!

after that it was time to go ahgong's house for dinner cos today is the last day of cny! yuan xiao? (oh that means time to open hong pao!)

on the way there saw the moon in the car and couldnt stop exclaiming how pretty it is. soooo huge and bright!
