day 2 : tainan to guan zi ling

woke up early and made our way to the office opening ceremony. almost fell asleep during the ceremony. kept dozing off :S

after the ceremony there was this short performance by three people. and they are really funny. then the woman taught us some hand signs.

after that we went to this salt mountain that is made of salt. super cool and the wind was really really big that it could sweep the smaller kids away.

oh my look at my manly jacket... i had no choice cos the weather was really cold.

they had matching windbreakers!! hahaha except the older brother cos they didnt have his size.. hahhahaha

then we went to eat tao huay. and the little boy got really happy eating it

after eating we went to visit this tourist attraction thingy that i thought was kind of lame but since we were there alr.... so we just went in

its similar to fort caning in singapore.. its called Fort Zeelandia.. the name sounds exotic rite

hahaha they look like they are ready to fire their canons

in the night, we had a lotus dinner. which means they use different parts of the lotus to make dishes. like the seeds, flower petals, leaves etc etc

after dinner we returned to our hot spring hotel!!! (we have 7 different hotels during our stay here which means we move everyday which is really tiring)

every room had a different style

our hot spring was indoors while some had theirs outdoors. we were so excited so we started filling it with water.

there's the side for the hot water and a another hole for cold water

the hot water is super hot....

and the cold water is super cold...

so we took like 30 mins to immerse ourselves into the hot water. it was so hot that our skin turned red and sometimes it was so painful that we just kept screaming. my parents complained that they could hear us laughing and screaming 4 rooms away.

but the wen quan was really good. cos its muddy water so i think it supposedly makes your skin smoother.

after that we totally fell dead asleep watching bang bang tang in channel V :D we watch it everyday :D
